part of ZBXNEXT-262 weighted SLA in IT services Closed

 Description

I would like to see a new feature in zabbix in the Configuration->Services section.
Now with the establishment of a new service, "Status calculation algorithm" can have 3 state:

  • Problem, if at least one child has a problem
  • Problem, if all children have problems
  • Do not calculate

I need one more status "Average for all child". Its essence is to show the arithmetic average sla of child objects.

Example:
3 devices are being monitored. Suppose one of them did not work at all for a certain period of time (sla = 0%), the other two always worked during the same period of time (sla = 100%). So, the parent service that includes these 3 devices should show 66.6666%.
(100%+100%+0%)/3

Seems to be a duplicate of ZBXNEXT-262.

Services functionality was majorly revised inĀ ZBXNEXT-6800, which includes most of proposed improvements.
