Description |
Hi I have some Dell server with idrac installed. I use the Dell SNMP template that in turns uses "Template Module Generic SNMPv2" which in turn links to "Template Module ICMP Ping". I wanted to use "Template Module ICMP Ping" to monitor both the server IP and the idrac IP ( i.e. the SNMP interface). But by default when the ICMP template is applied via the SNMP template it monitors the 1st interface of that host in zabbix.. which in my case is the servers primary interface. I'd expect it to monitor the SNMP interface. It's not clear to me how can the SNMP template, by virtue of linking to the ICMP Ping template, be told to monitor the SNMP interface ?
Ideally i'd like the ICMP Ping template to monitor the status of all the hosts configured interfaces. Can this be done ?
Thanks.
