  • implement jQuery js lib in zabbix frontend;
  • remove scriptaculous js lib;
  • improve Template, Hosts, Proxy forms;
  • improve Dashboard view;

Founded small difference between new schema and patches.
patches not include changes in schema:
FIELD |default_theme |t_varchar(128) |'css_ob.css'|NOT NULL |ZBX_SYNC

Patches updates only existing rows. It seems you forgot about update default value for schema in patches !

... and try to create new DB from trunk, go to Monitoring -> Hosts. You see at page bottom:
[ZABBIX_ERROR] array_slice() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given[/usr/local/www/zabbix/include/func.inc.php:1262]
Maybe related to ZBXNEXT-587, i don't now.

DB patches added.
Page monitoring->hosts is not ready yet, and out of scope of this issue.
