Description |
Hi, I'd like to see a feature in the next Zabbix releases that would me allow to monitor a complete SNMP table. Imagine I have a table that lists the status of devices if the ifInOctets table. At the moment I do have to add every instance of the table as a separate item. Regardless of the face that the table on one machine might have 5 entries and on the other machine 35 entries. It would be very nice to have the possibility to add i.e. the OID "dskErrorFlag" to monitor every single instance of the table or ifInOctets to monitor all incomming bytes on all interfaces. Zabbix should provide the intelligence to create events / actions including the instance that reported the error, like dskErrorFlag.5 in the report. Zabbix should also provide the intelligence to create all graphs of i.e. ifInOctets and ifOutOctest automagically. This would be great! Michael Schwartzkopff. |
