Description |
if looking at the latest data page and trying to figure out why a host is not sending any data, the fact of host being in maintenance is not displayed in any way. would be useful to do so. |

I've got a draft patch that adds maintenance symbols with mouse-overs to the host names on "Latest data" and in the host list. The host list can thus show the proper information in the status column and is now in-line again with the host details pane. I think the same should be done for "Overview" and the search results. The implementation is very ineffienct, as the maintenance API call is done for every host separately. That's pretty much like it is in Latest 20 issues too. Also, the same functionality is already present on other views. I feel it should be moved to a function. |

The maintenance indicator is also missing on other monitoring pages, for example, "Overview", "Web", "Events" etc. |

Straight forward-port without improvements |

I like the idea of displaying maintenance status separately from the host status. But this issue shouldn't be fixed for separate pages, we should change it everywhere at once. Like I mentioned in my previous comment, there are a lot of pages where this information is missing. |
