Currently the slideshow will start automatically by default on all created dashboards unless we turn it off. Mostly dashboards are used to display data and the pages to move through them manually. Where slideshows are more of a "big screen TV" functionality. Slideshows shouldn't always be on automatically when creating a dashboard. |

I think this should be a dropdown, empty by default, with 2 options: yes or no. That way there is no 'default' anymore and you force users to think about what they are doing... |

I think the options Off should be standard with a nice visible button to turn it on or keep it off the standard on is indeed annoying. A neutral button or dropdown to force the user to make an choice is also an option but then i would still prefer the button instead of the dropdown
