With the introduction of ZBXNEXT-6427 we've got a lot of extra options to choose from, in regards to SNMPv3 settings:
But that is not making things easier from a user perspective, and actually it's really hard to figure out which version the devices are configured with (often they just state "SHA", and good luck) which now means you've got to go through the 'trial and error' steps manually.
Would it be possible to add a checkbox "select auth/priv" automatically, forcing Zabbix to test all options upon first try, and store whichever works in the SNMP cache, and can be reset via runtime controle snmp_cache_reload
If the checkbox is not checked, user got to populate all fields manually, thus preserving current behaviour.
