It's been years since this topic has been talked about on Zabbix, but no official template for it has been created. When you find a template that was made by someone else, it's always outdated or way too complicated to set up when you have a big chunk of servers to monitor. You can always resort to monitoring the Windows Updates event log, but it's absolutely not viable due to Microsoft changing Item IDs sometimes, and it's not really precise. What would be really useful is an Official Zabbix template that will monitor Windows updates. How would that work? A template with multiple items, triggers (optional). The items could be:
