Description |
probably a regression - if events are not shown, it is not currently possible to view acknowledges for a trigger. for the trigger, acknowledges for the last event should be accessible |

allow us to view the person who acknowledged the trigger and also what comment they put in it. |
Comment by Andy Goldschmidt [ 2012 Mar 26 ] |
please can this be implemented in 1.8 - we really need to view what the person wrote on the acknowledge page for each trigger. |

monitoring -> Triggers - this shows the acknoleges people have made |
Comment by Andy Goldschmidt [ 2012 Mar 26 ] |
can the Ack "Yes" link be copied to the main Montiring triggers page - so you can click on the word Acknowledged on the Triggers page to see what the person wrote. |

any update on this ? - its really important and a real regression in 1.8. |

Confirmed in latest 2.0 (pre-2.0.3 r30301) |

looks like you need to use the filter to view them - choose Events "show all(7days)" - then a little "+" appears to the left of each trigger. You can then click the show "link". I'm on version 1.8.14 |

Rich, please confirm that the problem still exists, generally in trunk. |
Comment by richlv [ 2013 Jun 21 ] |
sure, it still exists. open monitoring -> triggers, do not display any events and try to view any acknowledgements |

(3) the logic is that we show "acknowledged" for triggers that have only 'ok' events, even if those events are not acknowledged (or, we show 'acknowledged' if there are no unack problem events). this was kinda ok before, but now it's strange - "acknowledged" link can be clicked, but it opens the acknowledgement entering form. this is very confusing asaveljevs Seems to still be the case in 3.0.0beta1 (trunk). sasha Logic will not be changed in a stable versions. This page was removed in version 4.0. WON'T FIX |

(4) have a trigger in ok state with some unacknowledged problem event. mass-ack it. it shows as 'acknowledged'. click on that link - it now wants you to acknowledge that last ok event asaveljevs Still seems to be the case in 3.0.0beta1. After sasha Logic will not be changed in a stable versions. OK events acknowledgement was removed from version 3.2.0. WON'T FIX |

(5) if a trigger acknowledged, let's show the amount of comments in parenthesis same as we do for events asaveljevs Seems to be fixed in 3.0.0beta1 (trunk), at least on the dashboard and in "Monitoring" -> "Events". In "Monitoring" -> "Triggers", the number seems to refer to the number of unacknowleged problem events. Combined together, it looks like this:
sasha Logic will not be changed in a stable versions. This page was removed in version 4.0. WON'T FIX |

for 3-5 we should figure out what we really want to show there and how. do we just want to take acks from last event, no matter whether it's ok or problem (then mass ack should ack ok events, too ?) ? |
