In Zabbix 1.8.x: failed API json validation leaves internal PHP encoding in ASCII It basically means that Zabbix 1.9.x does not accept incoming parameters encoded in UTF8. |

Fixed in both 1.8.x and 1.9.x. Revision 19159. |
