Description |
The boolean datatype used in any item would allow you to store a zero value as a boolean 0 (False) while any non-zero value would equate to boolean 1 (True). However, this logic has been disabled in calculated items in Zabbix 3.0.4. I would like to be able to use it to create some logic in group aggregate checks based on various lower level item values. |

The difference however, is that in calculated items the possibility to select anything other than 'Decimal' for the Datatype has been greyed out (see screenshot-1). For internal items this is not the case (see screenshot-2). Apparently, a different decision on GUI controls has been made here which led me to believe this is a separate issue which warrants it's own ZBXNEXT. However, if you feel the issues should be merged, be my guest |
