I have seen plenty of discussion about this out there but have not seen any definitive answer. When I delete a host that has a template associated with it the host keeps coming back. Even if you remove the template. I have even un-installed the zabbix agent on the host and removed the discovery rule.

How can I remove hosts that are no longer needed?
