I'm using zabbix to monitor oracle database,but it dosen't work well.

I want query 100+ parameters from Oracle database with one sql like 'select key,value from v$sometable'.But if I use the normal way like UserParameters,I need to query 100+ times,which means 100+ connection and cpu expend.

Yes zabbix-trapper is a good way to submit lots item at one time,but it doesn't support periodicity.Which means if you have a gap,it won't be displayed in the graph.Pictures below showed the differences,the sender always connect points with a line.

So I hope,if we have a db connection item type,and multiple items can got datas with one quey at the same time,it must be useful!

Or zabbix can provide API to allow users to developer self item type?
