Ubuntu 14.04 amd64, packages from repo.zabbix.com
We've upgraded to Zabbix 3.0 last week (using the packages on repo.zabbix.com) coming from 2.4 and in the past week we had two occurrences of Zabbix server being down out of the blue.
The annoying thing as that this goes unnoticed and is only visible in the interface where it says "Zabbix server is running: No".
The logs don't show much, it seems like it just "stops". A restart of the process gets it back up, but likely only for a few days.
Last log entries:
3297:20160224:055308.804 executing housekeeper
3297:20160224:055434.382 housekeeper [deleted 263283 hist/trends, 30000 items, 0 events, 0 sessions, 0 alarms, 0 audit items in 85.577288 sec, idle for 1 hour(s)]
3297:20160224:065434.759 executing housekeeper
3297:20160224:065603.177 housekeeper [deleted 263484 hist/trends, 30000 items, 5 events, 0 sessions, 0 alarms, 0 audit items in 88.417058 sec, idle for 1 hour(s)]
Is there anything I can provide to debug this issue, as it is pretty severe.
