Count function somewhat broken if = 0?

      CentOS 7
      Zabbix 3.0.1

      I created the following items on a host:

      test.count.1, zabbix trapper
test.count.1, calculated: count("test.count.1",5m)

      and the following trigger:

      {host:test.count.1.count(5m)}=0

      Then I didn't send anything with zabbix_sender
      I would expect the trigger to fire within 5 minutes but while
      calculated: count("test.count.1",5m) reports 0
      the trigger stays off
