HOST.IP1 macro stopped working afer upgrading zabbix server to 3.0

      We upgraded our zabbix server today and found that the macro HOST.IP1 stopped working.
      The same has been working fine with zabbix-server 2.2
      As soon as we pgraded, we could see the following errors corresponding to our hosts :
      18288:20160513:143420.291 cannot process step "AuditLogCollection" of web scenario "AuditLogCollection" on host "xxxxxxx": Couldn't resolve host name: Couldn't resolve host '
