My requirement for testing Zabbix and possibly replacing our other monitoring tools is to get the alerts to our "single pane of glass" tool that receives all alerts from all of our monitoring tools.

I see lots of documentation/examples of Zabbix being the receiver of SNMP data but never the sender.
It's a core requirement that there be a component in Zabbix that will send every state change to a 3rd party tool.

can anyone point me to some How-to document on getting traps from zabbix? Is it even possible? Is this a script, API?

I need some help.
