I'm trying to send text data over zabbix_sender to my zabbix server but an error is returned:
zabbix_sender
server:~# zabbix_sender -vv -z zabbixserver.mydomain.com -s 'i-8a46d05b' -k 'ldapsync[https://mysite.mydomain.com,lastSync.startFulldate]' -o lllhhh zabbix_sender [8622]: DEBUG: answer [{"response":"success","info":"processed: 0; failed: 1; total: 1; seconds spent: 0.000017"}] info from server: "processed: 0; failed: 1; total: 1; seconds spent: 0.000017"
The exit code is 2, which means that the data was sent to the server but it could not parse it.
server:~# echo $? 2
Checking the status of that item, which will created by an LLD rule, it status is Enabled. Why?? I supposed that it should be "Not Supported" instead of Enabled.
I've removed the discovery rule, deleted that item, and created the same item manually. After that, the zabbix_sender, sometimes worked, sometimes not. Bizarre situation. See:
zabbix_sender
