Hello. I am using the 1.6.7 agent compiled on oct 28 at 10:34.
I have an active check that pulls perfmon info from mssql, transactions/sec for a local DB.
Here is the conf entry for the active check:
PerfCounter=SQL.DB.VA.Transactions.sec,"\SQLServer:Databases(va)\Transactions/sec",10
Here is the scenario:
By local application constraint, MSSQL does not auto start when the box comes up.
After a reboot, the agent comes online before MSSQL and tries to pull the perfmon active check before the DB is available. The data returned is "0"...which is good.
Here is the problem:
Once the DB is available and the counter data is available the active check never begins to pull the data, continuing to return "0"'s as the lastest data.
Conf file specifies RefreshActiveChecks but it doesnt seem to do so.
- How often refresh list of active checks. 2 minutes by default.
RefreshActiveChecks=120
