After update from 3.2.1 to 3.2.2 (using the Zabbix repository) our main Zabbix server and one proxy kept crashing. Downgrade to 3.2.1 fixed it for now. We used the proxy to find out the problem and left the main server downgraded.
We have narrowed it down to the VMware collector. As soon, as we disable it in the conf file, the proxy comes up again. Lowering VMWare cache settings from 256M to 8M or just using one collector instead of 3 did not help.
