Public central Zabbix server running centos-release-7-3, multiple proxies centos-release-7-3 , overlapping separate IP networks.
We monitor multiple clients with Zabbix proxies and these clients often have overlapping private IP addressing schemes. We use Discovery rules to validate that we are not missing any hosts attached to each proxy. We've noticed that the discovery rules that monitor overlapping private IP networks are now reporting the monitored hosts from other proxies. For example, HostA.CompanyA.com uses IP address 10.10.10.44 and HostB.CompanyB.com uses IP address 10.10.10.44. With the discovery rule, under the status of discovery, the discovered device will be 10.10.10.44 (HostA.CompanyA.com) but the monitored host will say HostB.CompanyB.com.
