Sometimes elements and shapes remember values. First create two different shapes and select them for mass update using mouse. For example, change border color, font style and enter some text. Apply and close modal window. Select both shapes again and observe that values are remembered.
Now select single shape. And then select second shape using ctrl or select both at the same time using mouse again. Now observe that shape values are forgotten. If you change border colors individually again, the previous color will be remembered. See attached image for better visual explanation.
Similar problem happens with elements (icons).
