BACKGROUND: My environment includes about 70 Solaris systems and about 1200 Solaris zones, and is fast approaching 1K item / second. I have implemented host discovery for both systems and zones. All host discovery and data collection is via trapper (using zabbix_sender in the global zone of each Solaris system).

PROBLEM: When a Template reaches around 950+ linked hosts, it is no longer possible to update the Template, its Linked templates or Macros in the Frontend.

e.g. even it I only try to change the Template name, the field just goes blank when I click update (see the attached sequence of three screen grabs, in timestamp order)

REPRODUCE: The problem can be easily reproduced in a vanilla install using the attached template/host definitions and host discovery script.

IMPACT: This is a total show-stopper for me at present.
