Case reported by akucenko:
Master item (uint, without preprocessing) and dependent item (text, with regexp preprocessing).
Master item recieves a textual value.
Textual value is passed to dependent item.

As a result, master item becomes not supported (because of the type conversion), while dependent item recieves a value.
