Steps to reproduce:

1. Check SQL query for discovery in isql in zabbix user shell, all work good.
2. Create db.odbc.discovery rule to discover some data from Sybase DB with the query.
3. Create item prototype to make items by discovery

Result:
Discovery runs without errors, but items has not being created.

Expected:
Items has been successfully created

Perhaps the problem is caused because the db.odbc.discovery does not process the environment variables. Without the $SYBASE environment variable set, text fields has a blank output.

Now I'm use an external script as workaround.
