There must be a requirement for Zabbix server and proxy UTF-8 locale same way it already exist for agent. There can be a case when textual values received have been processed correctly on the agent side but but are misinterpreted on the server side. Making sure that locale is set to UTF-8 on both ends eliminates this possibility.
