We need assistance to migrate the zabbix server from one host to another. We are planning to use the same DB instance(may be a mirrored db of the old instance in the new environment) or end-up using the same instance itself.

Q1. Can more than one instance of zabbix server connect to the same DB simultaneously?

Q2. In case it can't , please share steps to disconnect the existing DB and then connecting the db instance to a new zabbix server. What are the risks involved in doing so?

Q3. Is there any know issue is we follow Q1?

Q4. Is there any standard documentation that outline the best practice as recommended by zabbix?
