Internal item parameter does not match documentation

In documentation Internal checks items zabbix[process,<type>,<mode>,<state>] 3rd parameter is called mode. In frontend when creating item it is possible to select all item options from a list (click on Select) and here this items 3rd parameter is called num. There must be no difference in naming.
