change in dashboard favourite sort order not documented

      Somewhere between 2.4 and 4.0 dashboard favourites have changed from being ordered by the ID of the favourite entry, to being sorted alphabetically. I'm unable to find this mentioned in the changelog or in the upgrade notes.

      Please add a changelog entry, and an entry in the upgrade notes for the affected version.
