new map editor does not provide a list of elements anymore. several use cases are impacted :

1. it is not possible to quickly assess all elements and verify that icons for all states are set correctly;
2. even more important, it is not possible to easily figure out what hosts/groups are present on a map to verify whether a particular usergroup has access to the map, and if not, how that could be resolved
