We encountered a case that happened few times on our own instance of Zabbix.

We have a trigger configured to send multiple alert (because we have no recovery pattern in our log) and it has always worked as expected. The issue happened when we disabled that trigger and received a flood of emails containing the following note along with the usual trigger message:

{noformat}NOTE: Escalation canceled: trigger "AS-Alert - LB Server Journal Error" disabled.{noformat}

We would like to understand why this happened and how we can prevent it from happening again.
