I've seen this on 1.4.2 and it's still here with 1.4/r4992

The problem seem to be that if two nodes use the same template (eg the standard Template_Windows), adding triggers and items to the template on one node borks the system. I have a master server and a node, and if I add a trigger on the template on the node, the hosts on the master gets the trigger. They can even get the same trigger multiple times.
