There are several port/firewall related issues in our documentation. Examples:
- Communication between Java gateway and the monitored JMX application should not be firewalled - at all?
- The proxy requires only one TCP connection to the Zabbix server. This way it is easier to get around a firewall as you only need to configure one firewall rule - any more details?
It would be great to have "The network ports and Firewall rules required for Zabbix to function correctly" page in our documentation. We can use it to aggregate all Zabbix ports related information (e.g. protocol, port number, descriptions). Also, we can provide some examples how configure firewall to allow Zabbix traffic.
It will decrease number of "firewall requirements" issues and will improve Zabbix documentation.
