Steps to reproduce:
Import would fail if there is a trigger defined on a child template which refers to an item from a parent template.

Result:

ERROR: host: X.X.X.X - an error occurred on import: {"code":-32602,"data":"Incorrect item key \"system.cpu.load[]\" provided for trigger expression on \"Test Child\".","message":"Invalid params."}

Expected:
It imports succesfully to Zabbix if Zabbix web Interface is used.

Initially found on 2.4.5, but 4.0 and 4.2 is also affected.
