      Hi,

Our organization has Zabbix 3.0 in Production on an Oracle DB.

It was installed from source at the time.

System admins want to switch to a binary package installation, to make future upgrades easier.

However, REHL binary packages only exist for mysql and postgresql.

What exactly is the difference between the executables zabbix_server_mysql and zabbix_server_pgsql ?

Would any of those binary packages be compatible with our current Oracle Zabbix DB, provided we keep our current zabbix configuration files ?

is there a plan to support Oracle in binary packages any time in the future ?

      Thank you.
