We use Zabbix 3.4 to monitor the link quality by the item like icmppingloss[10.37.9.221,3,5000,64,1000], the link is 10G ethernet, we found if the traffic reaches 7G or more, zabbix frequently reports packet loss at 33%, however if the traffic lower than 7G, no packet loss reported.
