    • Freshly imported Zabbix 4.4 Appliance running an an VMWare ESXi 6.5 host. Appliance was downloaded from www.zabbix.com

      Steps to reproduce:
      In /etc/zabbix/zabbix_server.conf go to the "SNMPTrapperFile" settings. The correct "/var/log/zabbix/snmptrapfmt.log" is followed by a second line: SNMPTrapperFile=/var/log/snmptrap/snmptrap.log
      This second line overrides the correct settings and prevents snmp traps from working

      Fix:
      Remove the second "SNMPTrapperFile" line
