1. Go to Configuration -> Hosts
2. Open items section for a random host
3. Select the filtering option Template: "Not inherited items"
4. Remove the "Hosts" filtering bit
5. Hit Apply

In the output we should see all items on from the hosts that tare not inherited from the template. Instead we get items from templates.
