Steps to reproduce:
Fresh install of zabbix proxy with sqlite database and following configuration:
root@raspberrypi:~# grep -e "^[^#]" /etc/zabbix/zabbix_proxy.conf Server=10.89.0.1 Hostname=pun1 LogFile=/tmp/zabbix_proxy.log LogFileSize=10 PidFile=/var/run/zabbix/zabbix_proxy.pid SocketDir=/var/run/zabbix DBName=/tmp/zabbix_proxy DBUser=zabbix ProxyOfflineBuffer=24 SNMPTrapperFile=/var/log/snmptrap/snmptrap.log Timeout=4 ExternalScripts=/usr/lib/zabbix/externalscripts FpingLocation=/usr/bin/fping Fping6Location=/usr/bin/fping6 LogSlowQueries=3000 StatsAllowedIP=127.0.0.1
Result: Service start hangs.
