Basically, we use the Zabbix event screen for all of our external IP address monitoring.

Ever since switching over to 1.8, the Events screen is screwy. The first issue we fixed, as the filter is a bit too enthusiastic - should be auto set to default to the way that 1.6 worked - but more importantly / annoyingly, the Events Severity section doesn't work correctly. If a monitored host is in a Problem state, ALL of the events associated with that host are colored RED. Conversely, if the last event associated with the monitored host goes back to OK, then ALL events associated with that host return to the GREEN state.
