I monitor the zabbix agent with agent.ping item.

When the agent terminate abnormally, in the development environment, a message
"Zabbix agent item "agent.ping" on host "XXXXXXXX" failed: first network error, wait for 15 seconds"
and
"temporarily disabling Zabbix agent checks on host "XXXXXXXX": host unavailable" is output to zabbix_server.log almost simultaneously.

However, in the production environment, it takes about 24 minutes that "host unavailable" message is output after "first network error" message is generated, so it takes extra time to detect down of the agent.

About the configurations of item, trigger, and zabbix_server.conf, there's no difference between development and production environment.

I want 2 messages to be output to log almost simultaneously in development environment.
Could you please tell me why such difference occurs and how to deal with that.
