Steps to reproduce:

1. On a brand new ESXI virtual machine, configured per documentation, boot to the install CD begins the installation
2. Much waiting with minor failure messages about rmdir missing
3. More waiting with no feedback
4. Finally see a prompt to "exit"  due to failure installing  open-vm-tools due to missing libfuse.so.2
