When two entries for the same type of interface (SNMP) are made, the second one being the default, the system persists in using the first one to make connections.
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new host
- Enter two different IP addresses both as SNMP agents
- The first one should be invalid (no host connected)
- The second one should be valid
- Make the second entry the default
- Go to Monitoring > Hosts
Result:
The SNMP Availability shows red.
Hovering over the red SNMP it says it cannot connect to the first IP address
Click on the host and select Check snmp status and it correctly connects to the second IP address
Click on the host and select Ping and it correctly pings the second IP address
Expected:
SNMP Availability should be green and data should be collected using the agent selected as Default
