This is going to be really hard to describe but here goes... Please read this carefully, everything here is relevant to the problem!
In the template "Template OS Linux", in the "Discovery rules", there is one called "Mounted filesystem discovery"
In this there are "Item prototypes" called "Free disk space on {#FSNAME} (percentage)" and "Free disk space on {#FSNAME}".
I have also added one called "Readonly disk {#FSNAME}"
In all of our systems we have a mount "/var" and a mount "/". In some we have other mounts (e.g. /var/backups/mysql).
Now when I go into "Latest data" or Items configuration for hosts, I will often search in the "Name" field for the name of the particular mount.
What I am seeing is, when I search for say "/" or "var" or "mysql" (or basically anything that is part of an fsname), the only items that show are the ones with "Readonly disk xxx". The ones with "Free disk space on" do not appear. If I search for "percentage" they appear.
I'm attaching some pictures to help.
