Inconsistency in the vfs.dev.read/write checks default returned values

      The documentation is not synchronized with the code or vice versa. For vfs.dev.read[device<,type><,mode>] and vfs.dev.write[device<,type><,mode>] defaults are not the same under different operating systems. "mode" parameter is not mentioned in the defaults at all.
