      Dear community,
An USB storage key  ( /dev/sdf in this case ) is connected to a proxmox server, where zabbix-agent2 5.2.5 is installed and activated. When Smart plugin is scanning the whole devices, it takes in count an dongle USB key who is installed on the machine. it doesn't exclude removables devices.
The result is a huge load of the system and the impossibility to kill the processes. In the syslog file, i can see a lot of :

program smartctl is using a deprecated SCSI ioctl, please convert it to SG_IO

, and when smartctl started to freeze, i get this kind of message :

      Mar 13 02:52:29 pveR1 kernel: [37460.242700] R13: 0000000000000000 R14: 00007ffc70757808 R15: 000055613a7ceae0

Is it possible to include -d removable or a parameter for adding custom arguments ?

Is zabbix-agent2 smart plugin take in count of /etc/smartd.conf parameters ?

The version of smartmontools is 7.1-pve2
      Thanks for your help
