Steps to reproduce:

An item created with a name using a variable like "$1 - Status" can't be filtered in lastest data by it's name returned by $1 and can be only filtered by "Status". It can be difficult for hosts with a lot of items

Some templates on zabbix share are provided with items name including $1 variable

 

How to resolve :

Filter work with zabbix macros {#SNMPVALUE} or {#IFNAME} or any other macros in the name so i change to that.

 

I don't know if it's a normal behaviour.
