    • Sprint 77 (Jun 2021)
    • 0.125

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Got to Zabbix Docs
      2. Check Docs for Agent MSI Parameters
      3. https://www.zabbix.com/documentation/current/manual/installation/install_from_packages/win_msi
      4. Spot ENABLEREMOTECOMMANDS

      Result:
ENABLEREMOTECOMMANDS is still part of the docs

It is listed in the docs for 5.0, 5.2, 5.4

      https://www.zabbix.com/documentation/5.2/manual/installation/install_from_packages/win_msi

      https://www.zabbix.com/documentation/5.0/manual/installation/install_from_packages/win_msi
      Expected:
Updated docs, that reflect the progress of already implemented changes.

      Notes:
I love Zabbix team, but sometimes I don't understand what's happening.

Since 08/2020 Zabbix is aware, that the Windows Agent MIS has a flaw: https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBXNEXT-6135

My bug report (because IMHO this is a bug and not a feature request) was closed. https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBX-19072 but then, at the very latest, I would've expected, that at least the docs will get updated, to reflect that this switch no longer works. No matter when it gets fixed, people still assume, that it should work, right?

Sorry for the rant, love you guys <3
