The statement is cloudy:
It's possible to use TimescaleDB partitioning only for trends (by setting Override item trend period) or only for history (Override item history period).
It sounds like we can use either one of the options but not both together. As discussed with the development team, this is not true and we can use both checkboxes together. I would propose it to change to:
It's also possible to enable override individually either for trends only or either for history only.

Compression can be used only if "Override item trend period" is ON and "Override item history period" is ON. That is because compression doesn't distinguish between history and trends.
