Error when using Item to Populate Host Inventory - Zabbix 5.4.8

      RAM: 32GB

      Zabbix Server: 5.4.8
      Zabbix Agent: 5.2.6
      MySQL Version: 15.1 Distrib 10.3.17-MariaDB

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Log into Zabbix
      2. Navigate to Configuration>Templates
      3. Choose template to edit
      4. Go into 'Items' screen
      5. Create 'Item' or modify current 'Item'
      6. Attempt to assign item to inventory field
      7. Save changes 

      Result:
      Zabbix returns to a blank screen. 

      When viewing Web Inspector, it shows that there is an error with the `items.php` file when the request is submitted. Because of this, Zabbix returns a 500 internal server error. Screenshot is attached to this ticket that shows error
